BREAKING NEWS: CDC Eases COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Foreign Travelers
Breaking News:

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (or CDC) has eased its COVID-19 vaccine requirements for foreign travelers.

Does that mean international visitors boarding flights to the United States no longer need to be vaccinated against COVID?

No, unfortunately. CDC didn't terminate the COVID vaccine mandate in its entirety.

And Democrats have refused to support a bill to end the mandate that was passed by the Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives in February.

All CDC did was slightly loosen the definition of fully vaccinated.

Now, for example, certain foreign travelers can board flights to the United States with only a single dose of a COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer or Moderna issued after August 16, 2022.

That's not what most of you were hoping to hear, I'm sure.
