Covid-19 changed lives of Mumbai's Dabbawalas | ThoughtCTRL | #shorts

The Mumbai Dabbawalas company is a source of pride for India. This 130 year old food delivery service, run completely offline and by a few uneducated citizens using codes has gained approval from reputed institutions like Howard University. The simplicity of this business is that it has over 5000 employees that deliver 200,000 meals a day between 9am to 5pm.
However the Covid Pandemic proved to be the roadblock that this business could not overcome. As people went to their homes and social distancing became the norm, these dabbawalas had no customers and no way to gain new customers.
