COVID-19-like virus found in Russian bats, can infect humans & is immune to vaccines
A new virus similar to the COVID-19 virus has been found in Russian bats, a new study has said, adding that it is capable of infecting humans. The study further said that Khosta-2 virus is "resistant to both SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibodies and serum from individuals vaccinated for" COVID-19. Khosta-2 attaches to the same protein receptor as the COVID-19 virus.
