Long-term effects of COVID-19 on the body
Long-term effects of COVID-19, also known as post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC), refer to a range of symptoms and health issues that persist for weeks or months after the acute phase of the COVID-19 infection has resolved. While most people with COVID-19 experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover within a few weeks, some individuals, including those with mild or asymptomatic cases, may continue to experience symptoms or develop new health problems long after the initial infection.
